Youngdo Velvet announced that Ilya Xuan, known as an influential designer in the Russian clothing and fashion world, and Andrea Voroviev, head of the Moscow Textile Association, visited the Daegu headquarters on the 7th and signed a business agreement to launch Youngdo Velvet at a Russian daily fashion show. . Through the agreement, Youngdo Velvet decided to provide the fabric necessary for the fashion show.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Ilyas fashion show is known to be recognized not only in Russia but also in Europe as one of the most prestigious fashion shows in Russia.
Ryu Byung-seon, chairman of Youngdo Velvet, said, “Youngdo Velvet has made great efforts to expand into the global market. I hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to inform Russia of its sovereignty. If there is an opportunity, I would like to install about 50 production facilities in Russia,” he said, expressing his strong will to advance into Russia.
Ilya said, “I got to know Youngdo Velvet through the introduction of the head of the Moscow Textile Association, and I am really satisfied with the quality. As Russians traditionally prefer velvet, the influence of Youngdo Velvet in Russia will grow in the future.” Ilya promised to permanently display Youngdo Velvet at the exhibition hall he runs.
