Youngdo Velvet opened a velvet exhibition hall in Daegu

Velvet, a space to publicize the most Korean thing to the world, utilizing Daegu textile tourist attractions, revealed plans to open Seoul

[Fashion Journal: Daegu = Correspondent Dongchan Koo] Youngdo Velvet Co., Ltd. (Chairman Byungseon Ryu) opened the worlds first velvet exhibition center, Youngdo Daum Exhibition Hall, in Daegu on the 12th.

Located in Samdeok 2-ga, Jung-gu, Daegu City, the Youngdo Daum Exhibition Hall has a total floor area of 1,056m² (320 pyeong) and consists of 1 basement floor and 3 ground floors. Various velvet products such as clothing, lighting, and wallpaper are presented by theme.

The third floor is a gallery, used as a complex cultural space for local residents, and an exhibition to pray for harmony and peace among religions is currently being held as an opening commemoration exhibition.

Ryu Byung-seon, chairman of Youngdo Velvet, said, “The Yeongdo Daum Exhibition Hall plays the role of introducing the most Korean tradition and beauty to the world through velvet, and the formative design of the eagle, a brand of Youngdo, contains the meaning of flying high like an eagle once again. “The exhibition hall is operated as a Daegu city tour course and is expected to become a tourist attraction for the textile industry in the Daegu region.”

Meanwhile, Youngdo Velvet is known to have established plans to open a Youngdo Daum Exhibition Hall in Seoul.

Regarding this, Ryu Byung-seon, chairman of the company, said, “With the designation of our velvet products as world-class products, we will open an exhibition hall specializing in velvet in Seoul, the capital, to develop it as a representative Korean brand as well as a Korean Wave product.” and hoped for support.
